Heavenly Dolls... I just can't seem to get a grip on the happenings of life to post something weekly... In any case, figured I spend quite a bit of time in my car and I LOVE MUSIC.... All sorts. Right now, Lady Antebellum is in heavy rotation, aolng with some old favs of mine Gavin Mcgraw, Hoobastank, Shania Twain, Faith Hill, and I also bought Aloe Blacc which I haven't yet introduced to the car tunes but soon... Hey H Dolls... I went shopping with my Madre (Ma) the other day and she actually picked out and recommended this Mango dress. I must say I passed it up a few times on the rack as other pretty things peaked my interest and it was always my last pick for oh well, I guess if I find it next time i'll give it a though - i did that for a few weeks. Long story short this dress was my mum's first pick. Reminds me of my prom dress with the velvet feel... I'm so glad I eventually took it that's for sure.. No loss there and I can't wait to have a reason to wear it... I am open to suggestions and options on how to wear this Mango stunner - one of those simple classics that needs very little to give off elegance!!! Hello Heavenly Dolls!!! I hope you all have been having a fabulous week.... Just wanted to share some new purchases... I know, I still have loads of showing to do. I've just been so busy between the 2nd office audit, month-end reports, spending time with family I hardly have had any time for myself. Starting to go to gym again after a very long hiatus... Fingers crossed I keep to it. Let's just say my first session this saturday is seeming challenging before I even start 6am Squash vs staying longer in bed - I guess we'll see if I do make it.... Hello Heavenly Dolls.... As stated in my last post, I would be sharing a few cute things I have managed to add to my closet. I have been shopping lately, of which I will be sharing my recent purchases in the near future. Stores like Mango, Forever New, Nine West, Guess have all been buzzing with sales and let's just say I have been amoung the shoppers, within budget of course... So nail polish has always taken the spotlight when it comes to colour. We have seen in recent years though that people are becoming bolder with shoe colours too and in my case bags and shoes may be an obsession, but it works for those who get them as a necessity as well. I am certain we all grew up watching our mothers take to knitting back in the day and we have witnessed knitwear grace centuries of fashion. While most of us may favour the ever comfortable, fashionable and affordable crewneck and V-neck sweater in the cooler months and in formal or informal settings; some of the people in my age group have parents who relished the fifties and brought style into the decade to the streets in the sixties with the Polo-neck that has been made iconic by the likes of Audrey Hepburn and they will beg to differ in the sophistication this knitwear offers. In all honesty, I have always been a woman who likes the carry all bags. The bigger the better for me has always been my statement. If I can carry everything in one bag, and let’s just say I carry a lot of excess then the better. I usually appreciate my big handbags when I travel because then I feel like I get more use out of them. So I have always been a savvy shopper and always wanted to find more than one way of wearing an outfit. I wanted to always transform a look with anything I could find, be it a belt, purse, stockings, jewellery, or mixing and matching colours.
