Brave Red Obsessed

Red lipstick is just my obsession what can I say. In recent years anything bold and beautiful is what I tend to stick to. Red lipstick has been popular since the 1920’s. Let’s just say red lips are here to stay for a few more seasons and best of all it’s a universal classic that’s still holding on to the style edge all the way from back in the Old Hollywood styles. Many women feel they may not be able to wear this color but I have news for you – We all can. And you know that traditionally red lips have been linked to the sex appeal of a woman, so all women should try this out.

1. Your Make-Up Face
Make sure you are very clean with little nude shadows and blush.

2. Line Them Lips
We all know this, lipstick tends to bleed out so be sure to use a liner that compliments your lip color.

3. Be Your Choice
Depending on your skin tone the shade may vary but we all can blaze red lips.

4. Nail Clash
So lately we see a lot of matchy-matchy lips and make-up. Well guess what? You can match your nails and lips too. But let’s not get too carried away, the rule of thumb is simple, I bet we all prefer non-red nail polish when we go red on the lips, but a light cool color is always the next best option and you can never go wrong with that. Just to add dark nail polish is a trend that seems to be taking everyone by storm lately and it looks like it’s here to stay a while a few options would work you just have to be fierce enough to rock it!

5. Lip Blending 101
Everything works better with a little blending. I never shy away from trying something new when what I have gets old or monotonous. If the red that you picked isn’t quite perfect try and blend it with what you have and you never know the gem you might just find in that.

6. Light With Age
I always say play off your best asset and in most cases it’s our eyes. But if you still like a little color more than neutral, always add a dab and don’t over-do it. A rosy red is never a bad option.

Let’s just say Runaway Red, Red, Blood Red, Ablaze You name it I have them and wear them on a regular but currently Brave Red is the best red I own and the fact that you can play around with the intensity is what I love the most.
